2026 Calendar and Notecard Bundle- Endangered Great Lakes Piping Plovers
NEW BUNDLE –Celebrate one of the Great Lakes’ most remarkable conservation stories with the Birds Doing Stuff: Piping Plover Calendar + Notecard Bundle.
Photographed over the past two summers—including this year’s National Audubon magazine cover story—this collection features the critically endangered Great Lakes Piping Plovers, a population numbering fewer than 200 adults. I spent the year traveling the shorelines of Michigan and beyond to document their resilience, behavior, and the people working to protect them.
The 2026 calendar highlights Gabby—the oldest known Great Lakes Piping Plover at 16 years old and the most prolific breeder on record.
Paired with the calendar is a boxed set of six different Plover notecards, each 5.5 × 4.25” photographed by Steve Jessmore, caption on the back, along with envelopes.
A portion of proceeds supports ongoing Great Lakes and Michigan conservation.
Bring these tiny shorebirds into your home—and help protect the habitat they depend on.
RETAIL: $43. On sale as bundle for $38
