Territorial Dispute

Small natural areas within the Torch River are disappearing. Effects from human use including erosion from the wakes from boats are taking their toll. An immature Great Blue Heron seeks refuge on one of these small areas and tries to fend off the aggression of a Red-winged Blackbird who is claiming it his own. Prints, metals and canvas are unsigned other than signed option.

-Prints are inkjet Giclée prints on smooth matte paper with a white border for framing. With a smooth surface and vibrant color rendition, printed on 100% cotton papers that will last a lifetime. For those of you who are environmentally conscious, Inkjet used water based pigment inks which are more sustainable than petroleum-based inks. Actual size of printed image may vary due to white border.

-The Metal prints are my favorite. A white base coat is applied to the raw sheet of brushed aluminum, which creates a platform that enhances bright colors and bright whites. These are ready to hang out of the box.

-The wrapped canvas offer durable color and museum aesthetic on certified archival, OBA-free canvas made right here in the USA.

-The framed images are printed on Giclée fine art matte paper, framed in a wide metal frame, matted, non-glare acrylic and mounting hardware ready to hang. The size shown is the print size. The framed sizes for each offering are as follows:

8x12 print matted in an 12 x 18” frame, 12 x 18” print matted an 16x24” frame, and a 16x24” print in a 24 x 36” frame. Print sizes are approximate depending on dimensions of photo and matte cutting.
