Birds and Wildlife

I’ve always loved nature. I kept frogs, crayfish and bugs I found in aquariums in my bedroom as a kid when I wasn’t allowed to have a dog. Jump ahead to 2020. While scary and life changing, Covid presented many of us a rare gift of time which I pledged to use well and learn something new. I isolated with nature, bought a kayak and challenged myself to photograph the world around me. My passion became birds doing things using a combination of my photojournalism and storytelling skills to tell their story. The experiment paid off. My photography entries swept the professional division of the 2021 Audubon Photography Awards- winning first prize and the only professional honorable mention. Following up, I again won a national Audubon first in 2022 for the second year in a row and my winning image was featured on the cover of the Awards Issue Audubon magazine. Whether editorial, non-profit, annual report or web lets talk how I can help bring my skills and passion to bring your story to life.
